We can't say enough about the effort that Debbie put forth on our behalf in buying our new home. From day one she was on it, actively and instantly helping us to secure the contract with the seller. Once entered under contract she very clearly explained how the process should unfold, identifying roles and responsibilities, and what we can expect. But what we didn't expect was that the lending team I selected turned out to be borderline incompetent. There were a lot of hiccups in the process because we bought a foreclosed property and 100% of the problems came from the lending team. Debbie took action in big ways, went far above and beyond expectations, called presidents of companies, and essentially closed the deal with our mortgage company single handedly, while my lending team seemed to just watch from the sidelines. She is a serious pro and will not take NO for an answer. When we thought we might lose the property, she spearheaded our approach and delivered by getting the deal done. I am certain we would not be in our new home right now if Debbie wasn't our agent. In addition, she successfully negotiated a split in the closing costs saving us $4k, plus an additional $2k in savings by avoiding an extension from the selling bank.
If you want a serious professional, that will look out for your needs as a buyer, not waiver or give up when things get tough, and will put you as priority number one, then I highly recommend Debbie Buckingham as the agent for you

Outstanding work - going up and beyond many times to help us buy a "challenging" home. It was a fore-closer, so there was no seller/person to deal with – just a Bank with a file number selling “as is”. But this did not stop Debbie from approaching the Bank and negotiating a justified lower price for the home. Truly a remarkable agent knowing all the curves in the road ahead of time - local knowledge of best inspector, best well diggers, best Title co. - on and on.
